We’re jamming. And we hope you like jamming too... Introducing BITES’ Holiday Jam. This seasonal beauty has organic raw sugar, spice, and everything nice.
One of my favourite things to do while in Europe for the holidays is to go to Christmas Markets, and warm up while sipping on delicious spiced mulled wine. There’s nothing more hypnotic and heartwarming than the delicious sweet mix of red wine, orange, cloves, cinnamon, and star anise. I wanted to recreate that feeling of euphoria and share with you all of those wonderful flavours combined into our Holiday Jam.
Following along the lines of a traditional spiced mulled wine, I created this Holiday Jam by sourcing out organic cranberries and blackberries to match the colour and richness of a full bodied red wine, along with adding fresh oranges, cinnamon, spices, and raw organic sugar. All slow cooked to perfection in a vintage Le Creuset cast iron pot.
